Tiramisu Recipe: A Healthy, High-Protein Twist to the Classical Dessert 

An Italian delicacy, tiramisu is a decadent dessert appreciated by many people in India. We decided to put a healthy spin on this cult favourite by adding our protein powder in the original tiramisu recipe so that you can enjoy your tiramisu without guilt. You don’t have to compromise on your fitness goals to satisfy your sweet tooth. 

There’s no point in torturing yourself by keeping away from your favourite sweets, especially if you wish to build lasting habits for a healthy lifestyle. It is better to look for ways to make your sweet indulgence guilt-free by increasing its nutritional value (for example, adding protein powder to the recipe) and minimising the sugar content in them. Thus, our easy tiramisu at home recipe with high protein is a perfect addition for your diet plan. 

Ingredients for Tiramisu recipe

  • 10-12 ladyfingers
  • 3 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup mascarpone cheese (cream cheese)
  • 1 ½ levelled scoops of Prohance Vanilla protein powder
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1-2 cups espresso (preferably chilled)
  • Sugar-free dark chocolate (optional)

Instructions to make Tiramisu

  1. Mix Greek yogurt, mascarpone cheese, protein powder, vanilla extract, and honey (optional) in a blender or using a whisk until there are no lumps in the mixture.
  2. Soak ladyfingers in the black coffee and place 1/3 of the soaked ladyfingers in a rectangular baking dish.
  3. Layer 1/3rd of the yogurt and Prohance Vanilla protein powder mixture on top of the ladyfingers.
  4. Repeat the process 2 more times to make three layers of delicious goodness.
  5. Dust with cocoa powder and cinnamon powder on top of the dish.
  6. Add chocolate shavings on top if you want.
  7. Refrigerate the baking dish overnight to let it set.
  8. Divide into four parts using a spatula and serve cold.

*If you want, you can add a dollop of whipped cream on top of your tiramisu to add richness to its taste.
